Let’s learn how to draw Inugami Korone from hololive Gamers today!
Inugami Korone (戌神ころね) is a Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of the Hololive Gamers. She is a dog girl, her dog breed is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and she is 92 dog years old. She works at a bakery, thus the bread and pastry theming around her. She likes to play games when she has free time while watchdogging.
Like most dogs, Korone has a sweet, very cheerful, energetic and goofy personality and is fiercely loyal, specifically to Nekomata Okayu. The two are rarely seen apart, and the pair is known as “OkaKoro”. She often kisses other hololive members for no reason. Korone has shared confidence issues. However, as time passed, she developed more of the open, friendly and energetic personality. In many of her earlier streams, and especially in collaborations, she was quieter and more reserved. She has a strong conscience. Despite all of this, she can be described as a bit “eccentric” or doing things at her own pace. She would like to do a stream about various torture methods. She tends to find all manner of weird looking things “cute” and will easily get very emotional if the game she is playing deals with themes of death of family members, or parting with friends / partners.
Her fanbase is officially called “Koronesuki” (ころねすきー, Loves Korone) and “Goma King”. Her representative emote is a croissant, because she works at a bakery. Korone doesn’t tend to follow “trends” or what is popular. She has a fondness for retro games, especially those that are more niche (or even poorly-made). She gets a lot of amusement from the strangeness in these games, often laughing at how absurd they can be.
Korone is capable of martial arts, with her fighting style of choice being boxing. She and Amane Kanata are avid baseball fans and have attended games together. Korone has a notable interest in American popular culture. She is a fan of South Park, Steven Spielberg movies (especially Jurassic Park) and Michael Jackson’s music. Korone is a fan of splatterhouse styled horror. She likely has an intense fear of worms, or certain types of bugs and does not like bacon. Korone has a sizable English speaking fan-base and she will often try to speak in English on stream to interact with them, even using Google Translate whenever she’s at a loss for vocabulary or pronunciation.

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.

Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.

Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.

To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Inugami Korone from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
