Let’s learn how to draw Amane Kanata from hololive 4th Generation today!
Amane Kanata (天音かなた) is a Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of the Hololive 4th Generation. She is an angelic denizen from the Angelic-Realm Institution, currently studying at the Heaven Academy to become a full-fledged angel. She is now studying how to heal people.
Kanata wears her Heaven Academy school uniform along with a small, shiny, metallic star-shaped halo over her head. She has the same shape on her uniform’s buttons. The high collar of her school uniform frequently conceals part of her face and uniform’s ribbon is consistently uneven/lopsided. Kanata also has two feathered wings which can be seen over her shoulders.
Kanata is extremely sweet, polite, friendly, innocent, a little naive and demure, pure-hearted girl. Her sense of humor generally tends to be less crass or vulgar. She doesn’t understand adult jokes and avoids the usage of bad words. However, she admits she has a playfully “sadistic” side to her, which usually manifests in her teasing the audience or playing pranks on her fellow hololive members. She has also admitted that she is markedly shy and she tries to hide it by pretenfing to be cool.
Her fanbase is officially called “Heimin” (commoners, Plebeians or a general lower strata of social class). She is avid baseball fan, owns two pet rabbits, is almost deaf in one ear and is referred to by fans as Gorilla due to her 50kg grip strength which is far above the average grip strength of a Japanese female aged between 18 and 20. She has impressive vocal range. After using Microsoft PowerPoint in her debut stream, she was nicknamed PPT (PowerPoint Tenshi).

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.

Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.

Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.

To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Amane Kanata from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
