Let’s learn how to draw Kizuna Ai from Kizuna Ai today!
Kizuna AI (キズナアイ, 絆愛, lit. Bonded Love) is a Female Japanese Virtual YouTuber who debuted on December 2016. She is the world’s first virtual YouTuber and the one who coined the term, though the first channel to use a CG avatar for vlogging purposes on YouTube was the channel of English-Japanese Ami Yamato, who debuted her first video in 2011. Kizuna was the one who originated the myriad of VTubers that exist today as she proved her style of videos to be successful and popular. As of 2020, she is the largest VTuber. Kizuna is aware that she is a virtual character and claims that she is an independent artificial intelligence (hence the “AI” in her name). Kizuna AI posted her first YouTube video on her “A.I.Channel” on 29 November 2016. A second channel, “A.I.Games”, was opened in March 2017 for gaming content, and a third, “A.I.Channel China”, opened in June 2019 for a Chinese audience.
Kizuna’s overall appearance uses a pink and white color palette. Her long brown hair is streaked with pink highlights and bangs. She has an aquamarine colored eyes and her classic clothes are white sleeveless sailor suit and short pants. Her arm sleeves and thigh highs are decorated with lace. Embroidered above her chest is the letter “A”. Her gaming outfit consists of a blue jacket, a white top with pink stripe and black lace and black leather shorts. Her hair is also changed in a bob haircut with bangs. She also has a set of black headphones around her neck and a choker. In both attires, AI wears her signature heart-shaped pink headband which she refers to as the Pyoko-Pyoko (ぴょこぴょこ). She considers her clothes to be a part of her body, as she is a virtual entity. Because of this, she considers herself to be naked all the time.
Kizuna AI loves to talk about what she does. Sometimes she can be spoiled. She also likes to explain the subject she talks about. She loves to dance. She often remarks that she is poor and can’t afford a lot of video games even though she would like to play them. Also she is comically bad at video games, often to the entertainment of her viewers. She has also made appearances on television shows and has starred in commercials not limiting herself to YouTube and has become a popular virtual talent not just in Japan but worldwide. She has overcome many challenges and is currently working on becoming a professional recording artist.

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.

Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.

Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.

To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Kizuna Ai from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^_-.
