Let’s learn how to draw Yaha-kui zaShunina from Seikaisuru Kado today!
Yaha-kui zaShunina (ヤハクィザシュニナ) is one of the main characters in the KADO: The Right Answer series. He is an Anisotoron, an intelligent life form that comes from Aniso, a “world outside space”. It is claimed that they are responsible for the creation of space, and that they collect the “information volume” that the same space generates. Hailing from a higher dimensional universe known as Novo, he is able to transfer information between Novo and human’s universe through a cube called Kado. As he announces, he has come to this world with only one intention: to “advance” humanity—starting with Japan.
Yaha-kui zaShunina closely resembles a human being, a young male, in terms of outward appearance. He has a silver-white hair and crimson red eyes. He wears a black skin-tight suit, in addition to a white cloak with red ribbons and sandal-like shoes. He also has golden earrings as well as rings on both of his hands.
He is keen on learning about humans and humanity. Yaha-kui zaShunina is seemingly fascinated by human nature and their reasons for doing things. He is very formal in his speech and often talks about things from a psychological point of view. Most of the time he keeps his facial expression neutral and doesn’t change it. However, he is seemingly unaware of human greed. Moreover, as an anisotropic being, it is possible that he does not have a sense of right or wrong. Despite this, it was revealed that as much as he is concerned, everything he does is essentially for the good of humanity.
Thanks a lot to Kirara Hyakuya for request. ^_^
Step 1
As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.
Step 2
Step 3
Step 4
Step 5
Step 6
Step 7
Step 8
Step 9
Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.
Step 10
Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.
Step 11
To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Yaha-kui zaShunina from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^_-.
Draw with passion! ^_^
