Let’s learn how to Pucca from Pucca today!
Pucca (짜장소녀 뿌까, Jjajang Sonyeo Ppukka) is the main protagonist of Pucca series. She is a 10 years old South Korean girl who is hopelessly in love with Garu, and is constantly trying to kiss or hug him. Pucca lives with her guardians (uncles), the three Master Chefs at the Goh-Rong restaurant, where she works as a delivery girl, driving around town on her red scooter. She usually delivers JaJang Noodles. She often communicates with giggling, angry growling sounds, gasping sounds and occasional short words like “hello”, “tada” and “yu huh!”. She has a pink cat named Yani, who flirts with other cats, but is only interested in Garu’s black cat, Mio. Pucca has very long, waist-length black hair, but usually wears it in an odango style, that is tied in two buns with two red hair ties. She has visible pink marks on her cheeks, which doesn’t show when she grins or crying. Pucca is usually depicted with her eyes closed.
She is very sweet-natured and helpful and well-loved among the townspeople for her kindness. Despite this Pucca has a very bad temper, a reckless attitude when comes to Garu. She is known for being very clingy to Garu and is constantly chasing him and covers him with kisses, much to his annoyance. She isn’t good with rejection and tends to get angry when Garu rejects her advances. Despite her clinginess she has saved him from dangerous situations.
Although she is not a ninja, she has demonstrated some unique abilities such as immense speed, strength, and a rock-hard head. She’s extremely present-minded and resourceful. Pucca is also a talented musician.

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.

Step 9
Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.
Step 10
Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.
Step 11
To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Pucca from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
Draw with passion! ^_^
